Who can qualify for services?

Yukon Mobile Meals provides service to persons residing within the city limits of Yukon who are aged, homebound, handicapped, or convalescing and are unable to prepare a meal themselves.

How much does it cost?

A suggested donation of $3 per meal is requested of each meal recipient. However, those who can not pay will not be denied.

What if I cannot meet the delivery person at the door?

We recommend having an ice chest on the porch in order to keep the meal from spoiling until someone who assists you (family member, home health person, or friend) is able to bring it in to you.

Is there a special diet?

No. We plan a balanced meal daily to provide our clients with essential nutrients. Although there is no choice of menu, we are occasionally are able to send a sugar-free dessert to our diabetic recipients.

What time is delivery?

Delivery times will be provided by Mobile Meals when your application is accepted and approved.

What if I will miss a day?

Recipients not needing a meal on any given day, for any reason, must notify the Mobile Meals program director at (405) 350-5900 by 9:00 a.m. to ensure time to process the cancellation.

"They were wonderful in bringing meals to my mother's house before she passed away 4 years ago. If they didn't see her, they would go find her to make sure she was okay."
